So I was going to clean my room, then my dad TOLD me to clean my room. Now I don't wanna clean my room. Funny how that all...works out. Anyways not too bad so far. Only been 5 days since the last post with no real change to report. Finally no longer sick, which is nice. The coughing was seriously a real drag since I couldn't laugh at anything. I helped Cami with a paper she was writing and found her some good articles to use, which made me feel helpful.
Uh...so yeah. That's a thing. Still no game in the mail. Frickin Amazon/Fed Ex taking forever. Watch me not get it 'til Thursday. -__-
Well that about sums it up.
laters.
(PS. Never mind. It came in the mail today! AWWW YEEEAAHHH!)

Spring Semester Week 6
OK! So I know this is late (it really doesn't matter but still. I was aiming for Tuesdays and I totally forgot.) ANYWAYS!!!
Did some make up work. Beat Kingdom Hearts 1. Ordered Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories from Amazon. Um...I went to an International Cuisine thing. That was...fun. This week's just kind of been nothing special. I guess that's why it went so fast.
...
OH! I saw with Marcus, his girlfriend (who looks a lot like Bethany...he admitted it so I don't feel as weird noticing that) and their friends at the "nerd table." This girl came up and asked us if any of us know about computers and could help her and I just LOST IT! I nearly peed myself laughing. I kinda felt bad for the girl but hey, you profile like that you kinda deserve the response. It was almost as though it were scripted in a sitcom.
Well that's about it. Kthanksbye.

Spring Semester Week 5
Oh uhhh...hi. I'm like...sick and stuff so nothing's really happened...
stayed with my gramma last week and had fun. We drank Java Chips and made fun of Twilight together (and she LIKES those movies. I swear being cool skips a generation or at least is diminished and then grows again).
I signed up for my first ever open mic only to have it stripped away from me be illness. Thanks Universe. and by thanks I mean eff yo couch biatch.
oh and for the friend I've fallen for. It's Autumn. Just in case I'm reading this like 20 years in the future and I've forgotten/didn't end up getting married to her or some shit.
K thanks.

Spring Semester 2012 Week 4
My grandma is freaking out because someone put a noose with a death threat on my grandpa's car and I'm on the verge of not being able to keep up the fading facade that I only like Autumn as an extremely close friend. Yep. It's that week.
Tuesday (the day after the previous post) the 'retns and I went to the grandparents' house where my mom saw what she thought were wires sticking out of the base of the antennae. My dad went to check it out and it ended up being a wire in the shape of a noose with a note attached reading "gonna die" on it. Naturally, this had my grandma in hysterics. Our first thought went to my cousin Trella, whom my mother had gotten into an argument with via Facebook a few days prior due to her being in mid-30's and wanting to have her tubes tied to have a kid with her new husband who happened to be black. My mother, being one of those "overbearing aunt" types, made a comment saying that my cousin didn't need another kid (jokingly) which my cousin took seriously and then there was a big to do that ended with her husband saying my parents were bitter old racists and that they were going to die and that he hoped my dad would get...violated at the prison in which he is a guard.
This lead us to believe that my cousin had maybe talked to a friend who took it upon him/herself to do something to scare my grandma who also told Trella that she felt the same way. (Although my grandma was nice about it). Well my cousin wasn't behind it but DID make it a point to tell my grandma that it sounded like a gang initiation thing and that newbies in certain gangs would have to threaten and subsequently kill people to get in. This, as you can guess, did not help my grandmother in the slightest. So currently my parents are over at her house spending the night with her, my grandpa, and Sandy (my handicapped aunt who lives with my grandparents). So yeah...that's a thing. I also would like it stated in writing that I cannot be held responsible for anything I do should I find out and then find who did such an act to my family and also to the new residents who live around the corner from them who received an identical threat a few days prior and are now scared to live in their new home.
Now we move on to my own personal mess. ...On second thought how bout I just do a Part 2. It's 1 am and I wanna watch the rest of Caddyshack.

Spring Semester 2012 Week 3
I posted week 2 in the wrong blog...whoops. (Nobody reads these anyways).
I think I'm developing paranoid schizophrenia. I've been seeing things lately, small things, here and there. I saw a small shadow run across the floor but it wasn't a mouse, I thought my shed door was closed and then it was open, and then I thought I saw my closet door (it has two sliding doors on it and it doesn't close completely) close more than it was ever so slightly. I think it's stress. That or that scary story about a haunted Majora's Mask cartridge entitled "Ben Drowned" that created the internet meme "You shouldn't have done that..." with the creepy ass mask salesman. (HA! Just reminded you of it didn't I future self. Good luck sleeping tonight. Hopefully you'll be married or something when you reflect on this so that should help. ;D If ya know what I mean).
I'm so tired but I plan on doing something about it. We have to do a Behavior Change Project for my health class and my behavior change is to get to a proper sleep cycle. I hope my prof approves it, I think it's really going to help in the long run. Plus I didn't want to do the generic "hurgle durgle eat right and exercise" because that's lame and I'm alright with my pudge, especially in the winter.
Speaking of winter: Snow, then 40 degrees, then ice, then 53 degrees with severe thunderstorms and tornado watches in the middle of January. What-a the eff pizano?!
Good news is my Environmental Science class let out a half hour early because the professor had one of his grad students do a presentation. So I'm actually gonna eat lunch for a change. K thanks. Bye.

Spring Semester 2012 (week 1)
Just a quick update post to start off the new year/semester. I think I'll try to do a post every week. It'll definitely give me something to look forward to when things get rough or even when I just have things to say.
First of all, no more K-Mart. Officially done. Never going back. I don't care if I'm perpetually broke and in need of major surgery. I'll never work there again. (Also since I didn't finish the 2 weeks notice period, they won't hire me back anyway so I officially have nothing to worry about.)
New semester. New major. New classes. All new professors. Really shouldn't be as bad as I originally thought earlier tonight as I dreaded the concept of having to be in class at 8 in the morning. Luckily I can go to class and then come home before my next class at noon. That's the good thing about going to school in your home town. And the classes shouldn't be too bad either. One class for the English major, and the rest are GenEd classes that don't look like they'll be too difficult. Plus I get every Tuesday off and Thursdays I only have a lab and that's it so I'll be able to get homework done as well as relax and finally work on personal projects. Plus I'll be in Jazz Combo so I'll have a music ensemble to focus on that I think will really help out. I just have to get used to not being taught by Eric Schatz, which will be kind of a bummer at first but Todd Gallagher seems like a really cool guy so it shouldn't be too hard to adjust.
I think I'm finally where I need to be. Mentally that is. I had a lot of doubts last semester that went so far in my mind that I actually had thoughts that maybe I wasn't meant to make it past high school and the sheer fact that I lived to attend college was an oversight by the grim reaper or something. (Which is a disturbing thought indeed. Nonetheless it was one that I had, which is why I am documenting it here so I can put it in text. Not so much a request for help but more of a reminder when I'm writing my memoirs or just to see how far I came after I'm done with collegiate studies and entering the real world of writing).
However I feel I should also mention something about miss Autumn Marie Long. The one constant in all the chaos and insanity in my life. I seriously believe I need to keep this lady in my life by any means possible. She's seriously up with you two (Kristan and Ferrari of course). I just feel infinitely comfortable around her and love her like family. And not like how I'm like, "Oh my friends are like family." But how you two are. I'd seriously punch myself in the nuts if I knew it'd make her happy. It's just...I don't even know how to describe it. I just feel at peace when I'm around you guys. Like I don't have to put on a show and I can just quiet down and relax. It really feels good to have people like you in my life. So thank you once again.
Snooch to the Nooch and here's to a good 8 weeks, then spring break, then 8 more good weeks, then summer vacation. Woo!

Rando Update
I think I might just turn this into an update blog for my life. Kind of a personal journal/ "Hey Brittany! Here's what you're missing in the Haute and why moving to Arizona with Logan was pretty much the best decision ever made!"
So yeah...things. Anyways let's get started!
I work too much...literally. Too. Damn. Much.
KMart has me every single mother funning day. I wouldn't mind a few long shifts but no. They give me measly 4 or 5 hours each day, for 6 straight days. The only days off are ones I SPECIFICALLY requested because I have to go to school events that are required toward my grade so, in all honesty, I don't ACTUALLY get those days off.
And yeah, I might sound bitchy here but still. I had to miss decorating my Christmas Tree because mom didn't want to wait til tonight to do it. I was glad Josh was able to help her before going off to grad school but I would've liked to decorate too.
Oh and dear mom, asking me "do you want me to take everything off the tree so you can decorate it?" is kind of a shitty thing to say. Which is why I hung up on you on the way home the other night. But we already went through this and I'm merely mentioning it for the sake of telling miss Ferrari the story. K thanks.
Also, what's the deal with people becoming INSTANTLY environmentally conscious when at a kmart checkout? Yeah, I know all those receipts and coupons suck but it's out of my control what the corporate office does. Seriously you moronic little shits just get your cheap plastic shit for your little bitch families and get the hell out so I can have my soul removed in piece during my duration in that god forsaken store that I plan on leaving when I get my next check from my school money.
Also managers don't know shit. I seriously know more about how that store works than they do and I've had everything re-learned that I forgot for about a month and a half. So bravo you incompetent little pricks. Bravo.
On a deeper note I'm still trying to figure things out. When I didn't have a job, I was all down in the dumps because I had no money and felt like I was doing nothing but going to school and sleeping; now that I have a job I'm angry because people suck and I work all the time. Just once I'd like a happy medium. Seriously, my perfect life isn't even all that much of a fantasy.
I'd go to class, have lunch with my friends (like usual) and on some nights go to work. Maybe a few days a week. I'd be able to enjoy holidays again with my family. Not just having fun but REALLY enjoy the holidays, which is something I haven't really done since about the time I entered high school and time seemed to start moving faster and faster out of my control. Maybe I'd have a girl friend. Hell I dunno. Wouldn't be a vital factor but it'd be nice. Just something simple. Maybe dinner, a movie now and then, or a little round of mini-golf packed with laughter. Not even that. I'd be good with cuddling up on the couch/bed and watching a movie.
The funny thing about all this is that, as I mentioned earlier, it's not really a difficult task. I have realized upon writing this blog post that I need to quit feeling like there are so many things out of my control. In some ways things are, like kmart scheduling me 3 weeks in advance and finding out about holiday things 1 week in advance or less. But the whole "work less, fun with family, snuggle with lady-type friend" really aren't that difficult.
...You know what?
